Continuum causes monitor to squeel

For some reason after i log into a server with my ship in space my monitor begins to emit a high pitch squeel. This only happens with Continuum.

Click on the profile button, then set Refresh to default.

it may only happen with continuum, but is surely a problem with your monitor

Mmmmm I get that all the time.. When I alt tab out of a fullscreen program/game I hear it. I've figured it is just the monitor restoring desktop settings or something and all monitors do it? I guess the replies thusfar sound like it is just me and a few others (onlyone included:)..

yea when it seems my monitor cant take it or something..all the graphics and whatnot..my monitor squeels...

thus..i got a new monitor...this was like 8ish months ago

Well, I wouldn't describe the sound as a "squeel" lol. I would say mine sounds like a click, i'm too lazy to record the sound and it isn't that big of a deal, soo=/

Hmm, depends on your computer speed, if its fast and has a good video card, it shouldnt sqweel or make any noises, but if its old and has a bad not so good video card, it might have a hard time reloading the desktop or any other things out of the game, or in the game, dunno.

Try playing Continuum in Windowed mode.

The exact same thing happened with my friends monitor but I fixed it for him. I went over to his house and saw what happened and then I tryed window mode instead of full screen and it fixed it.
