my problem should be simple, but it isnt. I hope someone knew whats going wrong.

Im able to play with a resolution 2048x1536 in the old 1.35 ver of subspace. Why Im not able to play with this resolution in the continuum vers.?The continuum client writes the registrty every-start new, Im not able to change it.

Exist an another way to fix my problem?

Try to update your video card drivers and DirectX.

You can also check "Show default resolutions" in the advanced options to display some resolutions even if they are not shown automatically.

Ok understand this.

resolution 2048 x 1536 worked in Continuum 0.38 then suddenly one day ever time I tried it it just showed fuzzy lines and no actual images. Then I upgraded to 0.39 pre-release and suddenly 2048 x 1536 worked, horray!

Now the DAY AFTER it is replaced by fuzzy lines again. This is seriously annoying. It isn't the drivers for sure if it works one day and not the other though the drivers are exacty the same. Why can't I play with 2048 x 1536, does god hate me?

things like this don't happen unless you have made some sort of change. This means that you have installed something new (additional software or hardware) or you have made a change to your settings. The best way to troubleshoot things like this is to trace back to whatever you installed or upgraded and then mess with that.

The only exception to this rule is when hardware breaks, and that sounds like the most likely option in this case.

Well I havn't messed with the software or drivers, I just shutdown restarted the day after and it didn't work. And it works perfectly in lower resolutions just now in the higher ones so I doubt if it's a hrdware issue. To be honest I don't know why it suddenly stoppd working again, it just has.

Maybe your vid card is overheating? Or just getting krazi of old (or not so old) age. Could easily be a hardware issue.

But of course you can always try updating the drivers and DirectX.

-*BAD WORD*-o and thanks for you help

I have found a solution for my problem, it was a problem with my drivers, but the orginal driver say to the continuum-client my monitor is only able to let me play with a resolution 1600x1200 this isnt true. With a driver from another monitor Im able to play with 2048x1536. But be careful it isnt harmfull for you hardware!

sorry for my english, thanks again

Yup it's still doing it, it works for a couple of days perfectly the suddenly on reboot fails then a couple of days later magically works fine again. I can't understand how it could be a hardware problem unless it fixes itself and breaks in turn by itself, or a driver problem as the driver hasn't been touched.

anyone got a new explanation why a reosolution works for a few days then doesn't for a few days then other days decides to not even show 10 or so resolutions then show them the next e.t.c because it's really pissing me off....
