YEs subchat wont work at all for me in in the VIP.txt i have the ip and port right and my name and password and the zone name right but it wont work at all. dowbloaded it 3 times from 3 different links all dont work.

What happens? Does it fail to connect? Does it crash? Does it not run at all?

it does absolutely nothing it doesnt tell me whats happeneing. all it says is:

 

 

Click Settings->Settings to set up the Client. Click File->Connect to Connect the bot once its setup.

I've never tried subchat in ME, but...well, it's hard to get ANYTHING to work properly in ME Upgrade to Windows 2000

i already ahd subchat working but then i formated and now its not working

Interesting thing about subchat, since its based off the core of a bot. When you connect, it begins the reconnect routine actualy, and itll never bother to tell you if it couldnt connect, itll just sit thier and keep trying for eternity, until various buffer overflows cause it to give up entirly..... What you described right thier is what subchat does when it cant connect to the server. I know ME's IP Stack was replaced with a half !@#$%^&*ed version of win2k's and xp's code. ME is an odd duck. Can you connect with regular continuum? If you can then its probably a code issue with ME (i hate me, never tested on it) if you cant connect with Continuum either well then thier ya go, problem solved, sorta...

Same happens to me sometimes... strange, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

And no, i'm not in the vip.txt or somewhere else on that zone.
