Cid Firefist Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Why is there still no bot in duel? Flying to the boxes is too much of a hassle. Will there be a new bot soon? What happened to the old one anyways? It messed up alot but it would be better than nothing.....

kentbrockman Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 well how hard is it going to be to create a new one? ive done a lot of programming, but not bots for this game... but seems to me that its as simple as if loser types !box 5 then warp loser to the random coordinates within that boxes range if losers=2 and oneloser typed !duel then duel them, warp to corner coordinates, score(0)=0, score(1)=0 if loser1 dies thenscore(1)=score(1)+1end if

Rifleman Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 The rumblestats is a product of both some ship and Explody Thingy from what I recall...some ship takes care of the link and hosting of the statistics while Explody takes care of developing the bot. thus, some ship would be the man to contact if the link doesen`t work -Rifle
Cid Firefist Posted March 6, 2004 Author Report Posted March 6, 2004 No, the reason I want the duel bot back is because I'm not lazy and I don't like to spend all my time waiting for the person I am whooping up on to fly back to the box when I could be spending it doing something better. Is anyone working on the bot yet? I am a computer noob or I would volunteer to help out.
