Guest Guest_Nightmares Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I would like to know how to change my password. Every time I try to enter a zone, the game ask me for a password. I tried every password I usualy use and it says that's a wrong password. Or is it possible to create a new user??? I changed my profile but it dont seems to change the user??? Can someone help me?? P.S.: I would like to say that it's stupid to ask a password to play a game, if you can remove this feature in your next version it will be great. You gonna loose a lots of players for that.... Sorry.... Quote
Yupa Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 if it says you have the 'wrong password for specified user' and you just picked that name out of thin air - most likely someone is already using that nickname choose a new name and try again remember that the topmost (1st) textbox is merely the name of the profile and this can be anything you want, but the 2nd textbox must have a unique name passwords are necessary to preserve the security of peoples' accounts Quote

Trained Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 Night, its best just to create a new user. Its pretty easy, in 3-4 years the name newborn is probally reset and someone has most likley recreated it. Make a new name like: Newboard-Original or something, im pretty sure thats not taken. Make your password unique as well. And it would be dumb not to have passwords, then we wouldnt really be able to classify who is who, people would be saying they're the real someone and there not. Ekted is laughing because he helped make continuum, and see's you as a newb.. gg Quote

Yupa Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 -*BAD WORD*-, it's 2004, isn't it... I think I'm stuck in 2000 Quote
»CypherJF Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Idle accounts I believe 90 days of inactivity are removed from the SSC biller, If I am thinking correctly. Quote
Swift Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Uh if an idle account was removed in 90 days I want to know WHAT account name(s) because mine sure as -*BAD WORD*- never have been Quote
Bargeld Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I am curious as to the actual 'rules' or criteria that define when an inactive name gets recycled. I am sure that it is based on the ?usage of the account, though. If your name has 1000 hours of usage, you could probably go for 6 months without using it and it would still be there when you came back (just an example, not an expression of the criteria used.)
