Cid Firefist Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Pretty much sums it up there, Apple. NO NO! You were supposed to say, "Apple, don't be so hard on yourself. You are not a -*BAD WORD*--*BAD WORD*-. In fact, I think I am in love with you." Quote

Aileron Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 My advice: Use your specials. You can get one or two easy kills with every ship if you use them properly. Ingore comments about "lame, lagger, etc." the people who take the time to type them are just high on themselves and everyone knows it. If you want to work on you aim, use my old training method. Go to an SVS zone such as Chaos for 15-30 minutes. When you get adjusted to the weapons there, go back to 17th Parallel. You will find your aim much better. Quote
GhettoSmurf Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 hmmm, advertising an svs zone? good thing you don't play 17th much Quote
Raem Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 I like to get in zone (preferably a ship with bomb radar), disconnect (using 56k here >.<), and practice shooting at asteroids long range Quote
Telson Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Jav is most popular... but if you just want to play in the base use a spider or lanc. Anyone in the squad Evil Staff and Elemental are easy to kill. especially 000 stay away from warbird/levi turrets.. especially if you see manus in one Quote

Naedhaha Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Nah DKR likes to think he is good but...he is on of the easier ones to kill...and stay away from the GREENFIRE squad the banner is a sign of cloak death :/ Quote
Cokey Flo Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 I have a nice list of people I try to avoid. Quote
Cid Firefist Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 I have a nice list of people I try to avoid. Bet 5 or 6 of 'em are my aliases Quote
ReCoil! Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 each ship has special techniques that can be honed.....to my advice is choose one u like or suits u....and work on it...dont flit between 2 many ships..... if u wanna work on your aim....try terrier....basically u will be able to use any other ship after that....some ships have bounce....which is very good for defending... if u get ur aim, and ur techiques....then ull be fine...and work on a single ship...learn who is good/bad and devise ways of using your ship to beat them....some ships are good against others...and not good against a different ship...but one of the best things this zone has is that if ur good at a ship...anybody is a target really...as long as u attack them in a right way.... also remain calm...as soon as u turn to suiciding madness...people will u kill u easily...always keep focused.... Quote
GhettoSmurf Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 but suiciding madness is soooo much fun, you should try it...next time i'm on... Quote
Tipme Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 my whole ss skills are dependant on being a kamikaze maniacnow...if i were to play like u regular people...would i be...better?hmmmm Quote
Cokey Flo Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 Bet 5 or 6 of 'em are my aliases How'd you guess..? <_< Quote
Vile Requiem Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 I hope all of cokey's kitty avatars are just photoshopped....Otherwise PETA should get involved Quote
Aileron Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 Well, whatever you do, don't choose Jav. A Jav pilot who can't aim is a sitting duck, because all they got is the guns. I wouldn't recomend it for those that can aim either, because one cannot build strategies with just one weapon. I'd recomend the Warbird over the Terr. Unless you are l337, it will be difficult to aim the single fire guns with slow rotation. More importantly, the Warbird is the most well-rounded ship. You would learn gunning, bombing, and use of most of the specials. Quote

You suck balls to be quite blunt (and you can be blunter about your skill) -.-' Quote
