★ 1587200 Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I got my ma's computer, and while logged on with her profile I was cleaning up the computer. Well, while I was cleaning I deleted her profile and the machine rebooted. I figured, "umm, k, it'll just ask me to login under Administrator."... well, it wants me to log in, and I'd be happy to, but for some reason, my mouse works, but my keyboard doesn't, so I can't really type in 'Administrator'. Any idea's? I tried bootin up in safe mode, didn't work, tried the last good configuration, didn't work, tried mashing all the keys on my keyboard, didn't work, tried switching keyboards, didn't work. The mouse only highlights and moves the cursor. I can't right click in the User Name area, but I can right click in the password area, but there's no text there... so I can't do much of anything. Idea's? Constructive idea's please. I'd much rather not take a hammer to it or toss it out the window.

Jimster Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 just a suggestion, on some erlyer MainBoards you need to plug the Ps2 mouse and keyboard into the corect plug, most auto detect what it has pluged into each Ps2 port.

Problem is easily fixed however this is support for Continuum and not Windows.
