Server Help!

My zone appears red no matter what I do and I cannot join it.
I am only able to join it if I add it manually with 127.0.0.1 but that is not what I am going for.
I have already port forwarded all the ports and my zones port + 1 after finding out that did not work either I have also tried DMZ.

It seems no matter what I do the zone is always red.

Would having two routers affect this? I have two routers that have different frequencies but I am not sure if this will affect me hosting my zone or not. I have set up a zone before so I am pretty sure it is not my Server.ini or Subbill.ini.

Firewall, antivirus I have also tried adding it to excluded ports/ programs and even disabling antivirus temporarily just to see if that was the problem and it was still red.

Do you guys have any suggestions or know what it could be?

Heya Ken! We will get it up and running!

Step one figure out your local ips with "ipconfig" if you are on a windows machine.

Step two: let see if another machine on your local network can join it.  Add a manual Zone and instead of 127.0.0.1 use the number you find for that machine that you just checked. So add zone "192.168.xx.xx" as a possible answer. make sure your port is good.

 

If you can join your zone locally we can move to the next step escaping your firewall/modem etc.

Usual ports you need open 185/186 4991/4992  remember its UDP (not tcp which is usual default)

 

the other thing is when i had problems it was my modems firewall i had to master not just my computer/lan/router.

open zone port+1 in firewall as well

 

since you said you did, your router is probably blocking it and probably all the ports too, or another one you dont know about

Your router probably doesn't support NAT loopback. That means that you won't be able to connect to your public facing IP from within your local network. You can see if it's working by having a friend try to connect.
