Delic Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Was having the issue described here as well http://www.subspace.co/topic/23863-continuum-wont-remember-my-resolution/Disabling UAC didn't solve it for me though (using Windows 8.)After a lil' bit of troubleshooting I discovered that checking the Show Default Resolutions option solved it for some reason. http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/9940/makaveliaq0.jpg
JoWie Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) What I did is:select the proper resolution in my profile. make sure you have at least 2 profiles before entering a zone, quickly toggle back and forth between profiles using the home and end key. Anyway selecting show default resolutions fixed it for me too. Edited April 27, 2014 by JoWie
Bargeld Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 I discovered this a couple years ago, also. Same problem, same solution. Sysop - SSCX Alpha West SVS
🜲 PoLiX Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Ditto to that. I figured was just another bug with where Continuum was installed (Program Files write permission issues), but even after moving it to another drive it still does it. JoWie Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) I installed continuum to my document folder so I doubt that is the issue. Registry permissions is possible though. Windows registry has the same ACL stuff as the file system. Edited April 27, 2014 by JoWie
🜲 PoLiX Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 I've actually checked, and it was changing the value in the registry. I even manually changed it just to see if it would do anything, and it didn't seem to fix it.
