Half of my screen is blaCk

When im enter in a zone half of my screen is black and in the rest i see the rest of ship

 

but when im in windows screen its ok what caN i do

 

its a new problem in my computer

half is screen is black, duh. it works in window and not fulscreen.

 

Try changing your resolution around, seeing what coes up.

Sounds like you need to update video drivers and/or Direct X.

ooh i was thinkin of sometin else. cuase my laptop fell on its side and i think it ruined a driver cuase half the screen turned black too. but wasnt widnowed

Uhm, haha. Dropping a machine wont ruin youre software, but can seriously -*BAD WORD*-up your hardware. Thats probably the LCD screen itself, not the video drivers.

yea it dropped and a corner bent in. i could still hook up a diff monitor and use the harddrive

Go to the view menu, and click on advanced options. If "avoid page flipping" is enabled, disable it. If it is disabled, enable it. That should fix it...I had the same problem once.
