I've been following this since I saw a post a long long long long long ......... long time ago here on SSForums I believe when they were about to start the kickstarter program.

Not really, the reason why they are doing that is because they left all kickstarters and investors so they dont have to listen to them. Chris Roberts wants to make a game that was HIS game, not something the investors limited him to make. ie. Freelancer.

Freelancer was suppose to be better, more features etc, but the investor for freelancer wanted it released asap and told Chris Roberts to not release the features he wanted to add and just keep the game simple.

 

Now that the fans are supporting the game he is making the game slowly with every detail that a space sim is suppose to have. He is even listening to players comments in forums adding what players are suggesting and so on. The reason why you believe he is taking our money is because you do not support it enough to see the fact that he is making it to satisfy people who want a realistic spaceship game. I guess we all have a different point of view, but to be honest, we will see if they really want is our money when the game releases.
