What happened to this?

Over these few years I have been coming back to check how progress has been.

 

What happened to all these developments? I have only seen phoenix moving forward but was hoping for something that was subspace or at least a remake. (Not saying phoenix is bad, It looks great would not mind beta-testing) I was really psyched that someone was actually working on subspace2. I have no place to ask what had happened to this project since I have no knowledge in coding but would just like to know where it has stopped or what has been completed.

I'm pretty sure as with every other project of this type, there is just so much to do it becomes a lack of motivation. Lots of progress in the beginning, the slowly dwindling down to a stop.

 

It's been a long time, but I think doc only started on a client. If I remember correctly, he was trying to use an engine that would support both 2d and 3d gameplay.

i intend to eventually finish mine, but i have more important things to attend to, especially since theres no real motivation because the game is basically already dead, as the sum of all the online players is now never really over 300, including bots

and at SSDZ its closing time. It broke my heart to tell ken that none of the projects had moved forward.  I'm happy to have any of you test your games in one of my zones.  In fact feel free to play 1.34 in KAOS South.  it was fun to get my cd and run the game.

Then i used the crack but i forgot how smooth the old client was.  Dearlordy i loves me the Subspace 1.34

 

So if you want to play with SS 1.34 come on over.

Also I'm interested in any clients or servers or app you have written for Subspace.
