First impression:

Take dedicated players with the most incentives to play and highest statistical abilities, then give them something to remove them from the game for a while.

 

Seems counterproductive. Would be better to give these prizes to the lowest stat people in order to up the average ability of the playbase as a whole. Kinda like Darwinism, remove them from the gene pool

That's what the second random stat is for. People who play can get rewarded even if they are good or bad.

 

This is not an absolute idea. I'm open to changes and Ideas.

Hrmm. Perhaps something like a random drawing of 1-3 people a month to those in the top 50 - 100 in practices?

Interest seems much lower than I anticipated. Probably going to rethink my approach.
