Does anyone know how I would go about creating an updated Continuum installer to weed out the default zones list? Currently, if you install Continuum on a fresh copy of Windows - Trench Wars (for example) is not even listed....among other zones. It's just a ton of red zones. The default directory server needs to be ssdir.playsubspace.com as this is the directory server that contains ALL the zones. the sscuservers directory server is extremely out-dated.

Also, who do I contact to update the installer at getcontinuum.com? Anyone know?

Thanks guys!

Every time I raised this question, I got the, "do it yourself" comment, but just a repack of the installer, I think the zones list is easy to do with editing zones.dat file, but I don't know about the rest of it.

Seems the easiest thing to do is try and get the person that made the installer to do it, but maybe something like This would work.

As I said, I don't know how you would go about the other stuff, maybe that's something hard coded into the client. Just a guess.

Speaking of client, hurry up cheese.

i sent a message to QA_MAN since he was the one that did the original cont installer anyway. maybe, maybe not, you'll hear something.

also, doing a re-packager like resol posted isn't "hard" but it is time-consuming/a pain in the dick. BUT you'd be able to incorporate a lot of awesome shit into it like banner packs or tile editors or whatever

I packaged the last few installers, it really isn't that hard to do.
