Psythe Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 1. Decide if you're making the ship center- or base-oriented. 2. Choose a signature that would work best for your choice. Obviously, you probably don't want to use Semiwarp in a basing ship when you could instead use a signature reactor. 3. Look at the ?iteminfo for your signature item. Look at the perks it gives you. For example, ZPM drops bulletfireenergy and multifireenergy by 2. 4. Expand on that -2 bulletenergy perk. Get a couple of EPI Capacitors. Use a level 3 gun to get the most out of the -2 bulletenergy (making it -6 per shot). 5. ??? 6. Profit, maybe. This is the way I have been building ships for many resets now. Alternatively, you could just be comfortable with that -2 bulletenergy and shoot for other various perks from various items, and get a sort of "system optimizer" effect on your ship. The rest is common sense: Obviously, don't put two siege mounts on a center ZPM terrier. Unless you have some off-the-wall strategy, then whatever. Quote
