3v3 squad gduel tourny wb/jav mix

id like to know if the zone would grant money rewards for this tourny, IF i can make it happen

 

if so how much? remember 3v3 will have many players, so reward should be fairly HIGH not only to attract players but to make it worth while.

3v3 dueling tourneys are fun, interactive and competative.. I think a moderator should help in any way he can to help this happen smoothly for the benifit of the zone.

it would be agreat idea to give the vets something todo instead of powning all of your new players that try to play. like on the heavy nights when there was alot of people the newbs were just getting chased by tempest lanc's and so on more events/tourneys would bring bigger crowds and help take the pressure off the newbs for being the target of a nano lanc.

It is a great idea. I remember 2 resets ago I set up a bracket and paid the winners with my own HS$. There was increasing Jackpots for winnning rounds in a row and a bonus for us SK ships. I dont remember exactly but by the end of the bracket i paid out over 800k. SRI won 2 rounds in SK jav and got quite a bit, overall winner got 250k for last round plus winning from all previous rounds. There was over 10 people who were in the bracket, and lots of spectaters and side betters. Was an epic way to spend a Friday night and 800k HS$.  Same thing with a 3 v 3 it would be awesome!

Ok well once I get exact amont of players/squad participating maybe it will be easier for you to say an exact amount. Remember that many players have their ships set for flagging not for group dueling so it will require them to reconsider their ship set up to prepare it for gduel and that requires MONEY. Hopefully the reward will be big enough for them to atleast break even, even I'd they lose. Understand?

As for rules and settings for event have yet to be discussed, yes it WILL REQUIERE YOUR PUBLIC ARENA Custom ships. If it didn't, this would be stupid. For players that are too shy to ask to partner up with others we will make a list of non squad players and group you up

also, money is too easy thrown around in this zone now, how about a player can choose an exp reward instead on money reward?

Have an entry fee of maybe 5k - 10k, then added that to the amount spider wishes to grant to the winners for maximum reward? Or yes, an exp reward would be another way of doing things, but then again, most players who will be entering the tournament won't need any extra exp
