Lone Outlaw Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) I want to be a troll just like Lone Outlaw. Edited April 12, 2013 by Lone Outlaw Quote
Lone Outlaw Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) Learn the difference between inference and assumption. 1. You dislike me2. Because you dislike me, you will dislike anything i like. (yes you are incapable of forming your own thoughts that don't center around me, because i exist, i influence what you like and dislike and why. Your will is weak.)3. You don't like Richard, which is why you use distancing language when referring to him.4. You would rather another project succeed before Phoenix client does, Perhaps Cheeses client, or Jab Jabs.5. You will likely try Phoenix, but probably in secret, and only to laugh at it and keep people away, i'm sure. I said if you don't want to try Phoenix, i never said you won't. I am not a hypocrite, i am the least hypocritical of all of you. i am precise in my language and you are not. Saying its the same game is not the same as saying it's not an "entirely" new game. How did you know the unverisity pays me $20/h to troll you guys for pshychological research? Yes my motivation is to kill Continuum, especially when i don't log on it. You don't need to kill what is already dead. i don't really object to saying 300 people deserve to die. Since i believe in original sin people for various reasons do deserve death. One because of bad things they've done, two because death is the only promise in life you can be sure of. It would be unnatural for anyone not to die and probably a curse. So i wish death on all of you when it's time. i love Continuum or i wouldn't like Phoenix, if Phoenix was nothing like Continuum, i wouldn't like Phoenix. i don't play anymore, because i'm busy not because i hate the game. And just because i love continuum, doesn't mean it doesn't suck and needs 100 improvements in various ways. Solution is Phoenix, so i'm not complaining anymore, just waiting. Resol Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 You guys are still wasting your time with this guy? And does he ever make a post and not edit it? Quote
LostAndNotFound Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 And does he ever make a post and not edit it? I've often wondered about this as well. Quote
Cheese Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 im wondering why theyre keeping this idiot here anyone remember rootbear12345 Quote
»doc flabby Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 There are online games with far less active players than continuum has which are still going strong. I think everyone is being far too negative. Decline is always the natural state of things without innovation...And we have plenty of innovation going on....one of these many projects will come good Quote
K-c-B Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 I always thought a slightly graphically enhanced version of Subspace would do well. Unfortunately I don't have the skill to produce such a thing. Instead of top-down, a slanted-down view. This would provide slightly better frontal visibility but at the expense of rear visibility. col.1 Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 The game is actually doing okay. We have a pretty stable, and loyal base. New players are still trickling in. We have at least three highly active zones with little to no downtime in game play. I do wish we had a way to promote with a better platform. Quote
Lone Outlaw Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Here cheese this is for you. Remember typing is speach, it's not writing. So grammar doesn't matter. Even a scholar agrees with me. http://www.ted.com/talks/john_mcwhorter_txtng_is_killing_language_jk.html Quote
Navee Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 This game is far from dead. It is still alive and kicking! Although with fewer numbers.I have played this game since 2004 and I know it will die in the near future, perhaps even sooner than we think, but it isn't dead yet. Every year, the Hockey Zone forums receives this same type of thread by that one person who considers the zone/game dead already.Well, every year, they're wrong. Hockey Zone is starting its 20th season. 11+ teams have already signed up. Check out our roster page @ http://rshl.org/ci/index.php?c=rosters&LS=104 Also, watch this video for lul's Quote
K-c-B Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 People still play Hockey? Every time I look at the zone, the pop is in the single digits. Quote
Navee Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) Ya, the majority of HZ comes alive around 5pm or 7pm EST, sooner if there is a league game. The zone is dead on Friday's. We are trying to get more people into the zone. It is not dead yet, but numbers are dwindling. We started a campaign a few months back to promote it on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Etc. It got us a few players. What we're looking for is complete newbies and to solidify them into our community so they return. Hockey zone is fun.You get to play competitively against other teams. 6v6 on a rink. It is spaceships so you get to kill/check players. You can also slapshot (tab), drop-pass (mine key), asspass, and shoot. The league hasn't started yet, so I invite you all to find a team, get on the forums and play. There are roles. Defenders. Mids. Forwards. And goalies. The best goalie in our tournament is Linix. He is really hard to score on. So come join us. Who knows? You may even win the cup. Those who win have their names engraved on the first arena forever. And their stats are uploaded on to the site for historical records. Edited May 5, 2013 by Navee Quote
K-c-B Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 I used to play a little bit of Hockey zone way back when. I talked to a kid named Ghoulie a lot. I might drop back by. Quote
a tool Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 (edited) I always thought a slightly graphically enhanced version of Subspace would do well. we thought that too. infantry/cosmic rift (SoE) was supposed to be just that and in a way it was. but the gameplay was clunky and crazy un-intuitive. most everyone who made the switch ultimately went back to ss. Ninja Cat Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 I always thought a slightly graphically enhanced version of Subspace would do well.we thought that too. infantry/cosmic rift (SoE) was supposed to be just that and in a way it was. but the gameplay was clunky and crazy un-intuitive. most everyone who made the switch ultimately went back to ss. THIS EDITING SHIT SUCKS BALLS AND DOESN'T WORKCR was ok, but the movement always felt slightly off. Then the balancing against the multi-ships was never right, and then they said they would use different ship settings for different zones or whatever they were called. At that point I snapped and quit. Lack of consistant gameplay between zones is something that I have always hated, and still hate with SS. But atleast with SS you can easily avoid those zones, unlike CR where it got to the stage that it started to feel that it was forced onto you. Quote
a tool Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 the only good thing CR had was ?target=player. Quote

Sass Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) I liked building zones in SS and had hoped that some of them would do well but never had the motivation to try and get players. Nevertheless, those who did come to help or play became friends and made ss worth playing. Hard to believe that the game will continue much longer as is but I'll play for a little while longer.
