Downloads Moderators

Lookin for a couple people interested in moderating the download section.

 

Mostly just need to watch for new submissions (mod cp has a simple function for doing this), and maybe upload some files as you have time to.

It will be a bit of touch and go and testing as I have never played with moderators of the download script before. You guys have the ability to do most needed operations except delete files for the time being.

It's all user uploaded, all a moderator does is click approve.. it can't be a joke when all the content is from the community.

I'm gathering/organizing a ton of good files. We need a good one-stop-shop for SS downloads. Especially the files that used to live exclusively on subspacedownloads that are now nowhere or the mirrors are broken. I don't understand what is funny.

Obviously if cheese did the www.politicalcompass.org test he would choose no to rehabilitation, and the death penalty. If you had any SHRED of an education, you would be able to see that polix did the right thing.

 

Polix rightly aligned my goals with his, which is to help the community. Instead of making enemies, banning, it's better to make friends. Polix opted to give me some form of responsibility, which gives me an opportunity to use my time helping. As well people are less likely to harm a community they feel apart of. In the end any task i do is directly under the oversight of polix.

 

Aquarius i saw a bunch of Skins from subspacedownloads in the download section, doesn't that mean most of the downloads from subspacedownloads were saved? i even see the Mine proximity graphics etc. It was all uploaded in Bulk.

I'm not sure.. I'm pretty sure it's missing a LOT. Skins are just a fraction of the data. I think L.C. has ALL the files from SSDL backed-up in split-up zip files somewhere - I'm going to try to get ALL of the data up here for download. Cross your fingers.
