freq resources to balance teams

Just an idea, possibly impractical but the idea is each freq has a limited amount of points. Each ship including certain upgrades.. cough* turrets cough* ... are worth a certain amount of points. So say for example a lanc is worth 20 and a tempest is worth 10 and freqs only have 50 points. That leaves only 20 left so another lanc with tempest couldn't be on the same freq. Or rather than the resources be static, limit it by current pop so if there's only a few ppl on than you cant dominate center with a lanc and turret or at least you won't have anyone else on your freq watching your back. If you want to change ships you only can if there's enough resources available for your build. One of many things I hadn't thought through was for instance a huge pop and bunch of op builds and than the pop suddenly drops. And the used resources are way below the recalculated limit. No. Turrets will never ever be counted as a seperate thing for flaggames. They're supposed to be balanced as items for the ship. Just like I'm not going to count Antideath, Summoner, Mounts, Guns, whether-or-not-someone-has-Salvo, etc. seperately. If Turrets generally are more advantageous to have than other items, then that takes balancing - not strange balancing logic.

Well technically, and surprised this hasn't happened, a whole freq with lanc tempests. The only thing stopping it are a team of other lanc tempests. At the very very least only allow 1 lanc per flagging freq and none on other freqs. Lancs in center are ridiculous in the sense that even a skill-less person with a lanc and decent turret will get at least 2:1 kd if not better by simply floating about waiting for turret fodder. In a fg lancs take skill but in center they just massacre. Only the best players can take down the worst that's in a lanc with turrets and that doesn't seem balanced to me.
