Static flags suck. The bases just need to be designed with multiple path ways and multiple flag rooms. The main problem is all the bases have 1 obvious room with only one way in and out so once the dominating team secured all the flags its nearly impossible for the other team, except through pure domination, to win and that is why ppl rage quit. If a base has several rooms and several entrances it would make things more interesting.

The original concept simply handed out a set number of ticks from when the first flag was taken. As soon as those were up, teams would be shuffled, a new base would be selected, and things would start over.

Just put 1 turf flag in flag room..

Gameplay would stay exactly the same, except it would eliminate gathering flags, double kills, and other lameness

The goal here is to change the gameplay of a flag game, not keep it the same. By distributing stationary turf flags throughout the base, both teams can be constantly rewarded for their effort, plus everything else mentioned elsewhere in this thread. One lone turf flag accomplishes very little in comparison to what you can do with 5.
