ive never played extreme games but im just gonna assume that that is a cr!@#$%^&* comment..that doesnt apply at all to the discussion...

 

can i just say to everyone that weasel cant take on terriers outdoors either...., so terrier might not be able to hunt weasel...but it cant be attacked by it...and i dont want to revert to using a shipset that u have to be in a specific place against a specific ship to kill it i cant think of anything more boring....we have to have something inbetween....it cant be jav kills everything outside...its just not fair...it has to balance between the 2 different settings old and new....

 

now who manages the ships round here please....this still hasnt been answered

And nez when balling and flagging becomes fun again I might try and play 17th properly, but when youve hbeen playing it over a few years it gets quite boring doing the same thing over and over especially in boring ships.

 

The mini weasel doesnt compliment the other ships, thats the problem with it. And if TW have the want to nick the idea off us it cant be good coz c'mon, its TW!

 

And where did you get the ships worst match up is a wb or lanc? I'm sure alot of people could take out a weasel in any ship they wanted. Its a case of knowing thine enemy driving that ship.

ok then so everyone would agree we want interesting ships?? and would u 2 stop argueing lol.....why doesnt someone get vile to come to this forum...and we can get a talk going and possibly try out some shipsets on fridays....he needs to see this discussion and from that we need to start doing something about it...instead of slagging each other off....which gets us nowhere...so nez + dakilla help me out ok!

DKR, so let me get this straight. You are whining about the settings and skill level of 17th, when your actually not playing the game as intended, with a ship that is meant to be used in bases, out in the open, and your having trouble killing the weasel -  a ship whose worst matchup is the warbird or lanc?

It's not about the weasel, or wb, or any particular ship at all. It's the settings of ALL the ships that is bothering people. Go bicker somewhere else.

 

Yes I'm a vet, I got into and fell in love with 17th back when you had killer lev bombs, 1 hit bomb kill weas, super thors, and nasty javs. This new shipset makes every ship too normal; having each ship with more extreme specializations made it more interesting.

 

I don't want lanc to have bullets; that's not what it's for. Now the shark and the spider are basically the same ship, except 1 has bursts and the other has bricks. Sure the lev has good bombs, but not that much better.

 

It's all a question of levels of difference. In the old shipset, there were more signifigant differences between each of the ships, and I personally prefer it that way.

Umm, from you DKR:

 

Lanc best ship to hunt weasels? Well considering there are only two x radar ships that kinda limits you down to the best ship to hunt weasels idiot.

 

The warbird is a more efficent weasel killer because of the greater turning ability it posses and the more powerful bombs.

I like the current warbird, its a good match against the jav, and the rotation and bomb thrust are perfect. I think a good jav pilot will still win anyway, but at least its a closer match then vs the old wb. The old terrier with its inane amount of reps, and x-radar just seems wrong. I would like the settings spiced up a bit, shark, warbird and jav imho are perfect as is though (although I wish the shark had a thor). And the 1x1 weasel is an original idea (change anything but its size), as I said earlier. I know everyone disagrees with me, but why not state my opinion anyway .

 

...The map also needs a change. Perhaps to be less accomodating for the weasel, or moreso. But make use of what 17th has unique over other zones, and somehow encourage people to flag or play ball more.

You can fight a weasel in any ship, but only 2 ships can hunt it. Thats the difference $

 

And stating your opinion can get you banned I sorta know :/
