Tempest Needs Another Nerf

Ask anyone. Centering against these things has become a drag. Tempest may look balanced on paper, but the amount of effort it takes to kill an AFK lanc is beyond ridiculous.

 

We realize that Tempest has a minrange. Lancs aren't as weak as you think, though. The better players have Phaser + afterburn for fighting at close.

that turret has made centering so awful that people are willing to flag for no jackpot.

 

Also flag games are longer, not many quick wins because you are back in tempest hell.

The zone alzo reset and people need money/exp and fgs are the fastest way to get that

yeah until some jackass newb with tempest hordes 3 flags in center. Everyone knows fgs don't start until the music starts and the ppl trying to start a fg just end up being fodder to an afk newb. Its retarded... ESP when these jackasses try to troll. What happened anyways? I'm used to sht talkers but it now a bunch of newbs trolling everyone of way far less experience points and money to afford stuff. Its lame cuz I'd like to play but not if its hopeless with op ships all over. Even mids over power smalls in center. Wtf am I gonna do or anyone do with a peashooter?

Spittnacid, you missed that ever since this thread was made, Tempest's range was dropped by 20%, its DPS by 50%, and its minimum range was increased (making it easier to find a blindspot).
