Help with linux(kubuntu12.04)

I have read some on here on how to install continuum on linux but so far have failed. I have downloaded a kernal? and placed it in the dll folder of wine. I got the continuumsetup.exe to install but when i try to load it by clicking on the yellow badge icon it just runs for 5 seconds in the taskbar at the bottom then goes away. Can someone please help me.

What vesion of the dll have you downloaded? Where did you place it in your installation?
