I like turret damage, think it is a good idea. But not sure why higher level bombs hurt the turret more than low level bombs.

They should all do the same dam as L1 currently does, Higher level bombs already have the advantage of having more splash. The tiered damage would make sense if turret only took damage on direct hits.

That's the entire point, splash. A lvl1 splash hitting a larger ship, the ship attached is better protected because of it.

A lvl1 bomb has limited damage for a lanc, same applies to the ship's attached to it, and the greater the splash damage, the greater the damage.

That's not how turrets work, however... As soon as you are within the blast radius of a bomb, your turret gets X damage. Where X = 200, 250, 300 or 350, depending on the level of the bomb.

So a lvl3 bomb exploding pretty far, but that still makes your screen shake and inflicts you, say, 50 damage, will still do 300 to your turret.

To be logical, turrets would need to either:

A ) Get damaged with the same amount of damage you do, so this takes into account the distance of the explosion

B ) Get damaged equally by all bomb levels, keeping the current X damage no matter the distance. Higher level bombs will still do more damage (or rather, more easily deal damage) to the turret because of the increased splash

Never noticed if it does or doesnt do that, but if it is the latter, then it doesnt make sense.

It makes less sense to have all bombs do the same though.
