Guest Will Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 Just like the title says. I played Continuum about 10 years ago, but I can't seem to load it up now (renewed interest!). Any ideas? The game runs fine all the way until hitting "join" or double clicking a zone. At that point it just hangs there.

Hakaku Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 How long are you waiting? Does the screen completely vanish after you click connect? Any error messages? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v138/zacinu/SubSpacebannt2.pngPSPACE (SourceForge) - Alternative client (source) to Continuum
spork Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 I am having the same problem. I do not know why, but it just freezes up when I hit Play. The application stops responding as well. Does anyone have any ideas? (I'm running windows 7)
★ ZiGNoTZaG Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Where did you download the game client from? Try the one here if other. Make sure to pick a resolution that your setup is capable of. Try windowed mode. http://www.zignotzag.net/images/subspace/vector/VectorWhat.png Vector What? spork Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) I have tried downloading it from both getsubspace.com and here. I am just trying to run it at 1024x768 windowed. Any other ideas? (thanks for the help, by the way) edit: I have also tried the zip file as well, but to no avail Edited March 18, 2013 by spork
★ ZiGNoTZaG Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 One could try temporarily disabling and sort of software firewall, just in case its a connection problem. Firewall blocking the inbound ports. If that works, add a new rule manually to the firewall allowing the continuum.exe. http://www.zignotzag.net/images/subspace/vector/VectorWhat.png Vector What?
