Dont have a clue why. Im pretty sure its something to do with Aesthenaut cause Aesthenaut hates me and Aesthenaut is Psythes new butt buddy sooo... Ultimately Psythe hates me.

Doesn't look like it was spam. Seems more like it was the netbannable offense of ?ignore evasion through aliases. And a few other things. Such as spamming ?showmoney/exp/whatever to avoid ignore.

Also, as Swift Warrior's said, and was quoted in the last topic: taking any issue you have with staff to the forums reduces your credibility in this 'case' and future ones.

 

Not to mention you look like an idiot when the proof is presented after you ask for it. So much of an idiot I was tempted to edit your post to say "I am an idiot" and locking the thread. Oh my god, abuse!

Thats all I wanted. Was to see why I was banned. I was not spamming Aesthenaut cause I already was silenced for that for a day. (lol) So Aesthenaut talks shit about me on pub then I go onto another profile to shit talk. Then he whines and says mods never did anything about it before so I got 7 days.

It shouldn't really reduce credibility because someone posted on forums. Credible or not credible comes from logs and screenshots. If they are an idiot or not comes from if they post on forums, and what you think of them. Really shouldn't tie into credibility unless your prejudging someone before seeing the evidence.

As a totally unrelated opinion to this event. I just wanted to express my views on banning for the traditional spam. (like when you type something over and over to a person) Most people never define what spam actually is, and just leave it to the mods opinion on a case by case basis. It's not really good to have one mod ignore one thing you do because their idea of spam is different, and another mod ban you for the same thing.

 

So spam in my opinion is anything repetative, that is repeated within 60 second intervals. So if i repeat the same sentence twice within 1 minute, its pretty much spam. If its a different sentence it's not spam. If i repeat the same sentence twice within 2 minutes, it's not spam. As well traditionally most kill macros are accepted, and they are repetative, and repeated within fast intervals. But there is a meaning behind them and so it's not spam. (traditionally) - some zones don't allow kill macros

 

My definition of spam actually is based on the dictionary. Also i feel its necessary, because if someone doesn't like what you are talking about, they can just deem it spam, and ban you. It's not spam just because no one wants to read what you are saying. And they can easily ?ignore you if it matters. And of course evading ignores is wrong. Not because you evaded an ignore. You don't get banned for switching names or evading ignores. You get banned for harassment. So be clear on that.

Shout out to Playwolf/Woofie for page filled spam of ?sharemoney -e for 5 minutes. Congrats. You only get fined 50k for doing this, if the staff likes you. So be cautious. Unfortunately, no ?localtime for this one.

TL;DR: Evading ?ignore, harassment, and spamming are illegal if the moderators do not like you. Otherwise, you'll just get fined, ships taken away, etc. Remember to capture ?localtime with the screenshot if you're reporting.

It's pretty hard in most of those screenshots to even find the line where he's avoiding ignore. When half your screenshots show something so mild, it's hard for staff to be bothered.

 

Lesson learned: don't waste our time for every little thing. One line of showmoney -exp is not harassment. One line every day is getting there. A whole bunch of lines that actually disrupt your daily activities is certainly 'punishable'.

 

Edit: I'm also done with this trial by forum. Maybe we should have a rule against that as well.
