4v4 Season 32 info

It's time.

 

I was originally toying with the idea of having an open ladder like league, cheating the bots a bit. This structure, however, has very poor support for playoffs, which still seem to be the only "real games" for people.

 

With that said, Season 32 will be attempted as a regular fixed schedule league.

 

Squads that previously said they are interested in returning (5+1):

 

StarFire Elite

Llamas

Rebels

Nguyens

Assassins

 

New squads:

Thor - captain: R

 

Try to post in this thread if your squad is returning, or if you want to start a new squad, post here with name / captains / core roster.

You'll need to have 8 confirmed before season start.

 

It's probably quiet in Subspace at the moment, summer and all, but we'll try to get this going by August 5th.

By we, I mean I will, if we have squads. And then I hope Clerisy is still as active as she was.

 

A1 gfx will be updated, in Blizzard terms "soon" =)

Perhaps. A longer off-season would also suck though... we can do that if we actually have squads to start things off with on whatever date, though.

Any ideas on getting a decent renewal going? I'd try to run MiS again but i dont think enough players will show. Unless i get new recruits. Im up to recruit anyone who wants to play and doesnt 0-3 in 2 min. Either that or i'll join any returning squad that wants me. I just want to play some fun sunday-games.

Between my abominable lag, unmentionable decision-making, non-existent skills and both continual dcons + need to afk without warning to help the crook missus, I'm glad my time zone prevents me from ever being tempted. But I truly hope a few squads get up and going and keep 4v4 alive. It's fun to watch, and often educational. I actually use it to go to sleep to sometimes, and not in a bad way, more like a My Cousin Vinnie way - gunshots in the background really offers something to an insomnicac - odd.

4v4 rosters have been unlocked for editing.

Using last season's data / season ID so we can run a few pre-season rounds if (when) required.

 

And A1 was updated, and the spam when you enter the arena (was removed).

People seem awfully sleepy, call your SSing pals around the olympics and remind them about spaceships
