Guest Autofire Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 I went to open continuum and I got an error from AVG saying the following: "Infection found: Luhe.Ramnit-corrupted" So I thought reinstalling it might help. I deleted all of my continuum files and folders and desktop icon etc, did a full deletion and uninstalled it entirely. I even downloaded the program fresh and installed it. I keep getting this message: http://i41.tinypic.com/2gwugyw.png Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have spaceships to blow up and every second that passes is just that much more of a lead freq 1 is getting. Please help. Thanks

Jareth Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 This is the same as http://www.subspace.co/topic/26357-virus/ except with the installer. False positive.
Guest sound_o_lock Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 This is a false positive that avg users are getting. Same thing happened to me after searching avg forums and ours I'm pretty certain it's a false positive and you have nothing to worry about if you have trouble running the game now it's because avg is quarantining it. You'll have to place it on the avg exceptions list and reinstall.
Hakaku Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 To report a false positive, just send an email to virus@avg.com and indicate where the file can be obtained and any other relevent detail. Continuum often gets marked as malware, but it's almost always a false positive. I do know that AVG has recently updated something causing it to wrongly identify Continuum, so you shouldn't be alarmed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v138/zacinu/SubSpacebannt2.pngPSPACE (SourceForge) - Alternative client (source) to Continuum
