Hi there SS/Cont folks.

I found this on some old backups and thought I would throw it out here just because.

It's a shipset manager I created quite some time ago and forgot about. I seems to work just fine in win7 64 but you have to set for compatibilty with XP sp3. I dont really have time to work on it if the conclusion is reached that it is broken. I suppose if the demand is there I could dust it off. It supports only 36x36 vie sized full shipsets. Basically, you put all the shipsets in subfolders, point it at your continuum.exe and then drag and drop ships to and fro. You can also adjust the hue of ships to suit your demanding tastes. When your all set you just click save and it grabs all the various bits you specified and compiles a new shipset from them and plops it into your continuum dir.

If you are so inclined to give it a go, download from link at the bottom of this post. Make a dir called "ShipSetDJ" somewhere. Extract the zip into there. Once you do that there will be a shipsets subfolder. Make new folders in here for the shipsets you download from various places. Run it(XP sp3). Click file. Click Continuum Dir. Point it at your....Continuum Dir. Click ok. Read the brief help.

And so...here...

sadly not many people toy with their personal shipsets as much anymore. Dunno why, but so much of the customization of this game seems to be a lost art.

Ah well. A day late and a dollar short. Seemed a bit of waste to just have it sitting on a backup CD if it still functions tho. Anyone is going to be hard pressed to find anything better then VIE ships, only ones that are "differant".
