a battle arena

As many may know i like to host events and prize players with my own money. me and baked cake came up with an idea to have an arena thats controlled by players, an arena where we can host Elim, 2v2v2v2 etc while using your own ships from pub. in this arena only a handful of players will have the ability to host events, these players can have the power to *lockarena once event begins, *spec a player after he dies.. etc, minor powers that are needed to control the arena, he can only use these commands in this arena only.

 

-the arena powers will have to given to reliable players, theres quite a few on zone.

-im sure someone will be like "OH WHY NOT JUST ASK A MOD TO HOST?" it's no secret mods are missing half the time, are lazy and are busy the other half of the time attemping to hop.

 

every one wants events that are hosted with THEIR SHIPS THE BUILT on pub, race was fun the 1st 5 times it was hosted, but then everyone realized mods were secretly praccin race and now players never win, also this event isnt an event where u use YOUR ships.

.?go tetris was fun too, but apperantly its too much work for the mods to host and well same story with race, no custom ships etc.

rabbit is fun but it only gets hosted when a mod needs para or nano kills nowadays and well pub get lamed when hosted.

Great idea imo, players should have the power in the arena only which would prevent mods worrying about them using it in pub. Really hope it works out

"how are you going to host 2v2v2v2"?

2v2v2v2 every player that dies gets sent to spec, last team or man standing wins

once it gets to like 4 players we warp the players to a smaller map, so its not a run fest,

the players are the ones making the maps , really simple stuff

if anything its a place couple of ppl i know who are bored as hell and never leave spec anymore to bust a on whats left of this game, then finally shoot ourselves.

i have the map ready to go. at least its good enough to start with, i might make it fancy later. if any one wants to see it ask me for a copy/ask me what zone its currently in.
