A montage to bring in more players

So I made a montage of what I think is the most appealing zone for the average subspace newbie. Let me know whatcha think!

good work, but it's just showing you owning people around in center of Hyperspace for 5 minutes . . . This gets boring after 20 seconds. Basing is finally shown only in the last seconds . . .

 

I think it would be greater to present the diversity of Subspace by showing more zones in various gameplays (flying freely around in center, extreme & awesome basing, turf, powerball etc).

I suppose it's true that there are many things to be done to make this more appealing to other potential players however my initial outcome was to have a montage. I'll be making a 2nd montage but after that I'll consider this recently posted advice for making more of an advertisement video rather than a showoff montage.

If you could get some clips of more extended dueling, I think it would be more interesting than just a highlight reel of kill shots. People who haven't played the game are not likely to recognize or appreciate an impressive shot but they can get invested in a back and forth struggle.

 

Just a thought.

Reminds me more of those videos of COD players showing off than some montage or anything really. Especially since I don't notice any video of you actually dying.

 

Wish I still had the video I made years ago for christmas to show. I grabbed a lot of good action from various zones.

Is there any good screen recorders that are free?

 

I use fraps, but the free version, and that only allows 30 second clips.
