Outdate weblinks

I'm just looking through some of the pages that continuum link to and notice a stack of them are dead.

 

Anyone have any dealing with NameKingsInc or any of the other holders of the pages that are down.

 

I'm thinking about making offers on them just to bring them back to the subspace world.

 

Is this worth my time.

 

I see the playerguide is dead wouldn't you prefer your name with your /axes rating there instead.

 

2 new players that were trying the game complained to me that the links were dead.

 

The other option is if the links get updated but i'm sure that is a programming matter via the client.

 

I'm glad that many link to Pollix's page still.

In reality, it is a quick e-mail to Priit to change em. Just haven't had anything to change them to just yet.

Linking some of those items in the continuum menu to face-book or twitter is a great idea. You would just need to pick one that reflects the spirit of the link. Or change them all to link to the SSCENTRAL site seems like a good idea.

Well, what would you link to facebook? Player's Guide or Player Scores wouldn't fit. And SSDownloads.com could link to our download section I guess. Unless Testtube ever gets it back up again.

My thought if you linked to facebook it would need to be a facebook designed page. That then links back to this sight. I mentioned the players guide more as a guide for the information not necessary the old page. If you were doing the same info then i would say link to the main site and have a section that is the players guide. (which knowing the vast archive) is probably on the site already.

 

In a separate thread getting our hands on player scores and hyping that up would be awesome. Thats what people want to see that would build player traffic. If you were able to post scores about each zone or even the same player cross zones that would be a lot of fun.

 

Seeing how well you did in CHAOS, Trench Wars, Powerball all in the same place would be sweet. Also that may be a way to feature even some small zones that only usually get 1-4 players. Then when Jabjabjab Client is up and running scores from him as well.

 

I'm just brainstorming but all of these things would be fun.

 

To recap any link is better than no link and to hear the fix is only an email away thats great. I was thinking that wouldn't be fixed unless another version of the game was made.

 

Good Work on the Site traffic seems to be up! Lets keep it growing!
