goball Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Is there time recordable in Quickrace? or Can anyone add this function to Quickrace? Quote
Hakaku Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 All race-type arenas can have records recorded, as long as: 1) The map has defined regions. Namely, the finish line (conveniently named "finish"), and the prize points if any (named "rocket").2) The spawning point is at the start of the race, and surrounded by doors.3) The race module is attached to the arena Mage+ would have to modify his arena on points 1 & 2. Hakaku Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 Please reset the record >.<Done. Perhaps I should start keeping track of those who are cheating their way to the finish line... Quote
Resol Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 The record broke in this arena were not "abused" by staff, but because the who ever did the setting gave the ships portals. I really thought your module shipreset every one, but it doesn't, it just prizes a rocket. I think it should ship reset. Quote
Hakaku Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 I don't think Mage+ specifically gave ships portals, it's more like the race settings were never imported, since he never really intended on finishing that map. And since the settings weren't touched, you could also kill other players, which kind of defeats the purpose of a race. But yeah, you're right, the module doesn't shipreset, since I had never really imagined a situation of using it in arenas with other settings. Quote
