2v2 Tourny Rules

 

-Allowed all guns/bombs including SOP

 

-Teams of 2 Wabirds are not allowed, since thats clearly OP, Teams of 2 Javs are allowed or 1 WB and 1 Jav

 

-NO Items

 

-YES Mines (let's see if we can get a mod to make mines disappear slower for the event)

 

-Teams will be only 2 players PER team/squad (Let's see if we can also get AD disabled for the event only)

 

-If a player lags out on his team, he sits the rest of the match, if both players lag out its a loss +1 to the other team. If the other teams agrees to allow the lagged out player back in, he can come back in. if not GG sit in safe.

 

-1st To 5 wins

Anyhow, try using a timezone like UTC-X or GMT-X, then everyone has a clue what time you're hosting.

 

I'm okay with increasing the mine alive time a little for the event.

Doesnt help when the person hosting it doesnt show up until 24 hrs after the time it was supposed to start. That might of had something to do with it.

I was there at 12 45 and the zone only had 15 players who were flagging tards and proboly did not even own a wb or jav. so i figured leaving since there was no points.

 

also p nut i made a map/rules and told everyone repeatedly that there was going to be a 2v2 tournament despite the fact that they proboly read the news.txt. besides u werent even going to show up all u did was cry about some prox bomb.

 

someone else can host if they want, the map is already up and the rules are there, and ill still give my money to winners.

Maybe if you'd announced it in pub that the 2v2 was about to start, or gotten a mod to announce, instead of assuming everyone who is flagging only flags, you wouldn't have this problem.

A lot of people showed up, including myself. I didn't cry about prox bomb, I merely brought it up as a possible concern. Go back and read the thread if you like. Also, no one is obsessing, we're just telling you the zone was waiting for you and you didn't show. No one else could host it because you're the coordinator. If you set rules in place in the event you couldn't make it, it'd be different. We don't care if you didn't want to host it any more, just don't make the excuse that no one was on when clearly half the zone can say otherwise.

you talk as if i dont want to host this, I went to the trouble of asking morons like you for ideas on rules that players would like to have, made a map, and was using my own money for prize and on top of all that i logged on a zone thru out the whole week before the event (despite me not unspeccing to play) just to yell and players to show up for tourny, even tho they already knew about the tourny due to news.txt

 

all i saw 15 ( more like 9 players actually since theres like 6 bots.) players next to the zone name Hyperspace, i dont know if the zone crashed or was being recycled that did not go thru my mind , i guess i was just disappointed and left.

I was there about a half hour after it was supposed to start and asked around about what was happening and everyone said that no one heard anything from you, whatever alias you were using

To summarize:

 

Player Killer didn't bother to actually go into the zone at the time the event was supposed to be hosted, and simply looked at the zone list and somehow managed to get a number far lower than the actual number of players.

Dunno how that happened.

 

Solution:

 

Host the 2v2 and actually show up this time instead of being lazy.

To summarize:

 

Player Killer didn't bother to actually go into the zone at the time the event was supposed to be hosted because an event cant be hosted without players, and simply looked at the zone list and saw a dead hyperspace zone.

Thats what happened.

 

Solution:

 

Cancel the event since theres no one interested in it.

is there a way to see the zone population of previous days, id like to see this 50 ppl population, cuz either my pc has an epic virus that 50's show as 15's or im blind.
