Kill tracker bot

We all have seen that Cheese is either really bad at making bots or really good at making scam bots. Which it is we'll never know, as he'd rather verbally attack you than talk about it. So, rather than fight with a troll, I'm counter-trolling by releasing the source to a bot that does exactly what Cheese claims his does.

 

In a nutshell:

-The bot waits for someone to give it 1k or more. When someone does, it creates an account for them.

-Kills/deaths are tracked (per ship) for any players with accounts.

-Players can type !kills to get the current net kills since account registration.

 

Data is persistent across executions via serialization of the map.

 

 

The source is really basic, but I threw it together in about 15 minutes, so it may be a bit sloppy in some areas. You'll have to give it a username/password and compile with Java7 before it will run. But hey, that's not hard to do. So do it. Or don't. Whatever.

This version only gives (kills - deaths) though (i.e. nano kills), doesn't work for parasite

You kind of failed at trolling, Cheese. It does track nano, it just doesn't track parasite.

And it's not particularly difficult to replace the single tracked variable which goes up with kills and down with deaths, by two variables of which one goes up with kills and the other goes down with deaths..

 

Edit: Whoa, Cheese's bot is not only broken, it even scams users with every feature it has:

So, umm, which messages am I supposed to believe? I lost $1 more than it even told me I did, and the second message (money received) doesn't even state I lost anything.

I guess it just steals more money and doesn't tell you. Not to mention it doesn't even state anywhere that !transfer costs you anything.

 

Very reliable and trustworthy bank bot.

and yes, the player was receiving the message because it wasnt updated when the tax was added

it was already included in the next bot reload, which obviously hasnt happened yet

but everyone who actually cares about the bank has already been informed of this, and you would have too, but youre a huge douchebag

I don't really get what Cheese means by that edit? All I said was that currently Ceiu's bot subtracts deaths from your kill count, and that to make it work for both parasite and nano, the only required change is tracking kills and deaths separately and letting the player know both when they request 'info' on parasite/nano. Reading comprehension is a good skill, Cheese. Work on it.

 

Edit: Although the funniest part is that he defends the error in his !transfer code by claiming I somehow put my balance at $99 before this, and then started transferring. Look in your bot logs, which I assume your ultra secure bank bot has. You'll see that your bot probably subtracts the 'tax' (lol, why would anyone use a bot that taxes you over ?give? Oo you can use it while the other guy is offline! So worth paying Cheese! for!) twice or something
