Resol Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 The ships have been under going some changes recently, and I have brought those changes into the public arena for testing. Ship 1 is the same Ship 2 is reverted back to level 1 bombs (the level changes in a lot of the ships was an issue that finally got our attention). Ship 3 is the same, and may need some final tweaks. Ship 4 now has level 4 bombs, its quite deadly, but without much speed its a sitting duck. Try to get someone to play ship 8 so you can attach and guard the flags, or snipe from safety. Ship 5 has been taking down, it was over powered although still having the lowest about of energy, now its still fast, but not as deadly. Ship 6 has been turned into a turret style ship with limited mobility. I recommend having someone has ship 8 on your team. It has very rapid fire level 1 bullets, its sure to put a stop to rushers. Ship 7 now has a level 4 bullet, but I wouldn't use it unless you know you can kill the target. Its basically a fun ship that can lay lots of mines, and can repel other mines away. It can shot many level 2 bombs, which I have to say looks really pretty in game! Ship 8 is very hard to kill, and if you don't think you can kill with it, let me teach you how to rush with it. Time your attack when you've just dodged your enemies gun fire, then rocket in and counter while holding the fire buttons, and your slow be rapid fire gun will eliminate the target. Now, on the down side, its not super fast, its not meant to be a killing machine, its the only ship that can be attached to, and is a very good ship to have while team flagging. With that said, I hope we can get a couple decent games going on. Perhaps a signup and a planned date? Your thoughts are wanted, Thanks. Quote

You can do so many aesthetic stuff with it. Multifired Ship 6 on a turret is really effective. Great changes! Well done! I think that the Warbird's (Ship 1's) bullets are too rapid... I mean the delay between bullets. And I still have the feeling that lvl 3 bombs are too strong I love the Spider, but I'm not sure if it may seem a bit overpowered - then I'd recommend to downgrade its bombs, but other than that, I'm very fond of the new settings! I agree with this, I think there are two solutions to this.A) Decrease the speed of the bullets Decrease the bullet fire delay Spider, but I'm not sure if it may seem a bit overpoweredAgain this is something I agree with and I will tweak it some more for future discussion.Not sure of time frame of this post and my changes, but I did downgrade the bullets slightly, but I didn't want to make too many changes before listening to people. Ship 2 is back to is old self with the correct level 1 bombs, the upgraded weapons was a module problem. Ship 5 I am happy with, but I think I might make it faster - Any thoughts? Glad you like ship 7, and the others, I think it will change the game play up and create some diverse ship usage during the flag games. Quote

Another thing I noticed is that Ship 5 seems quite balanced, but once it receives Multifire bullets it becomes quite powerful and almost unbeatable. Oh yeah, Ship 8 in center with rockets is quite the ownage.. haha Quote
