Honest answer is: if you're looking to hire someone, in real life or in ss the first thing I consider is 'are they stable?' You could be some super-wizz genius with the greatest ideas in the world but if you're not stable then you're no good to be in any position of authority: this quality is the minimum requirement before any of your positive attributes can be considered.

 

You strike me as someone who can't control themselves fully and is prone to wild outbursts. Sure right now these are only verbal things but the worry would be that they'd extend to abuse of powers if you were given mod.

 

Here are two examples from this thread:

 

1) When you were aliasing as genny I knew this very early on. Even though I found it hilarious I never revealed the info. Could you do this? Even if the person aliasing insulted you the way Carat just did?

 

2) You mentioned polix, he represents exactly what I'm saying about stability and the worst possible outcome of an unstable person with power. When he was a mod in eg he went batshit crazy and tried to ban the entire zone... Granted I don't know the guy well but I'd have a very hard time trusting this person again and it baffles me he has such power now.

About polix:

This guy is crazy and has no right a netop. I mean honestly, when acid was aliased as pat i asked polix if he could confirm that pat wasnt acid rain. He replied with, "yeah hes been bugging me here in SVS for a couple of years so i sent him over to eg. Hes a newcomer dont worry."

 

This is outrageous. A netop flat out lying to protect a friend. And then he "netbans" acid for a coupla days so no one suspects him in helping alias. Absolutely ridiculous. When i asked sann to aliascheck pat she said "polix already did". I mean really? Polix needs to go, he could easily get drunk one night and just crash all of SS and reset all names just for the fuck of it.

The only reason Polix is more unstable now, is because the Troll God has arrived here.

 

Also for future reference, I have been given Sysop in two zones already. And I have never abused. I even relinquished both positions, because of Inactivity, my trolling takes up most of my free time. I would rather someone more active take the sysop positions. I was also given ER in DSB. However I declined. And said I would rather be a referee, or OP. Greenish offered me ER. He is the only one on DSB staff besides the_snake, who would consider hiring me, and I said it was okay. I could have easily gotten into dsb staff if I accepted his offer, and then from there gotten REF or OP eventually. But the point is this is not power to me. I only wanted ref to help them out, since they are severely lacking in staff. And they still spit in my face and won't hire me. Knowing that I have already had plenty of opportunity to join staff already. Truthfully if you want real power, it's in the form of friendship. If you have many friends, and get a long with everyone, then you have a power beyond anything Polix might have. So it's obvious I don't want power, when I troll people. Trolls do not have many friends.

 

I am also way more fair, and incapable of abuse, because I don't like bans, and I could never harm someone like that. Whenever I play games I always play the good characters, I can never play an evil character. The only reason I kill in subspace is because the person who dies gets a shiny new ship each time. So it is technically doing them a favor. However when I was on Ultima online, I could never actually loot people dry after killing them. I always felt bad. Though I bet Polix would be a PK/red and kill everyone and loot them all day. However I never even looted the Player Killers, and they eventually became good friends. I did however play a Pirate, which allowed for the nature of the guild I had to be free compared to strict PK guilds, or Knight guilds.

 

Truly I would never abuse because I actually enjoy talking to people. You can argue and talk to me all day, insult me all day. The troll god considers this his playground, and play time. I would take it in stride very easily. Yes I reply back, but is my nature to be here 24/7 replying forever. Persistence makes the best trolls. There are other traits, like ignorance or Narcissism. People claim I was not loved by my mother, but you fail at psychology, so the troll god will educate you. It's actually the complete opposite, my family has loved me too much, and sheltered and overprotected me. I will get into the other traits of a troll later. Truly through at the core of everything I do, it is because I care. I ultimately care more than all of you. I am also pretty direct and honest about myself. Yes if caring is a crime then you should not be in charge. For only people who are capable of caring should have any positions of power. As well if I ever do cry, it's because tears comfort me.

Acid Rain has never been a "Friend". I dunno why this whole "PoLiX sent me from Chaos" bs started. I never met the guy until one day I stopped in EG, he found out I was netop, and began bugging me. Being I haven't even been hanging out in Chaos for a "couple of years" even, and being "he's a newcomer" hth can someone be a couple of years, and a new comer?

 

Pat flat old told me he was Acid Rain. And as I always tell all you and your nn2 buddies, there is no alias command on the biller. Sorry, can't do it.

 

As for the ban, he found a *unknown* squad and promised to use it for EGFL. I told him my rules for lending those squads for league use (which only he has ever broken), and he agreed. He then went and traded the squad for some names without even telling the squad members, and they were still on the squad even. So naturally I told him he broke our agreement, and he faced the consequences. It had nothing to do with "hiding his alias".

 

I've read you guys posting this more than enough times on EG forums (I do visit and read them still), and I typically laugh when acid calls me his "friend" (especially since I won't give him any of the squads he wants). But figure since it is here now, and I am logged in here all the time, might as well reply.

Lol you gave my squad which I owned to some smurf noob who is never online. A smurf joins my squad somewhere in mid season, probably some veteran, or someone who will never play again, and he ends up getting my squad tag? You don't even bother to tell me this guys aliases so I can contact him. You don't even want to talk to the squad members on my MSN who are actually still active. I already told you to ask anyone in DSB. Even your trusted DSB staff who you do special netban favors for. And they would have told you Talon Claw was my squad. What more evidence do you need then 100 people admitting it? Seriously.

Those 100 people hate me. It makes it true. Shhh now. Not to mention, which I am mentioning twice now, they are your precious DSB staff who Polix and Mom fall head over heals to give netbans for. You morons got involved with them for netbans. Rather then mind your own business and let them ban me from DSB and be done with it, etc etc. Why is their word on who to netban true? And not their word that Talon Claw is my squad? Especially when they hate me.

 

Give me my squad Talon Claw, thanks. Nobody even wants that name. It's a crappy name. More proof that I invented it.

I said threaten? I said something like I tell you, everyday.

 

But yeah I'm terrible at self discipline. So I it was only once. I didn't actually technically want to harass you, since you never banned me.

 

I would tell mom everyday, but I guess I am too old to waste time on her. Plus I haven't been on SS much, if I was on ss more I would probably get bored, and message Mom everyday. One thing I liked doing was logging into zones that I was net-banned from. So your chat boxes get spammed 50-100 times with a message saying the Troll God Is trying to enter the zone.

 

Anyway you did support the net-ban? Why on a rule standpoint, I have no clue, all I did was talk. On a personal stand-point sure it makes sense, you just don't like me. Banned from one zone is fine, but all of them? Too much. As mom said you are the one who deals with net-bans. She just deals with names, or some crap that she fed me. She shouldn't have banned me to begin with, according to her, BUT you weren't online etc. So you could have just unbanned me when you found out it was for basically nothing. Anyway you said you would have banned me anyway if you were online. So it's not just by association. It's your support, and lack of action, and the fact that it is your responsibility and not Moms, which means it's like you did ban me.

Well, net-bans only show like local bans in the zone you login to. So I had to be in the zone for 1, and I also turn off ban notifications in my auto. And Mom only logs into bang when she uses it. Many people don't login to bang on login. So sadly your spam probably didn't effect anyone as I heard nothing about it.

 

Bans aren't my domain. MikeTheNose & Spacehiker are in charge of monitoring the net-bans (mostly MTN as Space is still new to it), and you'd know that if you properly disputed it. I just cover when I notice they need some help, haven't gotten to tickets, or someone just comes straight to me. Though she might have also meant it in the fact many zone staff use to always come to me for net-bans if their lvl1 wasn't on.

I e-mailed MTN, but got no reply. I think I left him two messages also. Mostly just asked for banfree in 17th so I could play Sockey, but he didn't even want to banfree me in a zero population zone I guess, because of a lack of a reply. He seems active enough. Pfft Losers. =/ Doesn't even matter anymore my ban is over. I was talking about Talon Claw mostly.
