Well brain will do it if he has an Iphone? I thought he was saying he still won't do it, because coding it will waste 20 hours of his time, and he makes a potential, 3000$ in that time.

I was saying that I'm not willing to approach it as a business venture, because I don't believe that it will make money.

Yes, I'm still willing to do it for an iPhone or an Android phone.

I really don't have that much interest in the project. I've offered to do it because no one else seemed interested (whenever it was that I first offered, a few years ago probably), and getting a phone out of it seemed like a decent deal at the time.

Because that's what it's called?

Consulting

1.employed or involved in giving professional advice to the public or to those practicing the profession: a consulting physician.

Advice

1.an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action, conduct, etc.: I shall act on your advice.

2.a communication, especially from a distance, containing information:

Now I hope you know the difference between actions and words? Building prototypes is action. Advice or consulting are words, in which someone else takes the action and builds the prototypes themselves based on your input.

I wish people would have learned more in University than just their job description.

I can't tell if this guy is being serious or not B)

Dr Brain.. to write a proper iPhone app it would be a little more involved than you're thinking, especially with the multi-tasking side of things. You'd need to involve push notifications /w a server handling all of that. I've done a few protocol based clients before.. they aren't hard, just involved. Polishing is another matter entirely.

Ever done an iOS app before?

You could be right, I've never done anything on an iPhone. The only apple product I own is an old 5th gen iPod. Hopefully someone with more free time will take up the mantle instead. If not, I'll still give it a go.
