I guess some people are afraid their zone will lose all it's players because other zones are so amazing. You should do what DSB did, and make a Hyperspace specific client. Which only displays hyperspace in the zone list. Then it would make sense to ban someone who tells Hyperspace players to come to trench wars. Because you would have perfect monopoly on the players in your zone. They wouldn't know trench wars even exists. But right now I am sure everyone knows how to use the zone list. You should go further and ban everyone for even looking at another zone. Do you monitor PM's for advertising? Squad chats? I think I will visit hyperspace soon. I doubt none of those rules apply to Private messages for example. Why do you guys even host a server if you hate the player demographic. You think there exists a person in this world who didn't swear once? I bet you swear on your way home from work, and then you get on ss and ban someone who swore. It doesn't mean an insta-ban if you talk about another zone, but it prevents people spamming about their sucky zone and stuff. What Brain is saying, is that you're taking a shit on his zone in a topic that is about DSB. If you don't like his zone or its rules, just get over it and shut up.

I thought that was obvious when he called me an ass. I don't think hes a bystander either. Considering he involved himself in the thread. It's not like I went to the hyperspace forums and started attacking him? Like really if you don't want me to reply try not to talk to me? I know No advertising is a very common rule. It's also detrimental, and it's old compared to the times. It's like a bad tradition that never changed. However subspace changed dramatically since the rule was ever thought up. There are many benefits to having your player base playing in many zones. Isn't that why we have ?Chat=subspace, to get people to play in many zones? Of course we don't need idiots spamming other zones. That applies under the spam rule. Advertising rule is useless. P.S Hyperspace is a nice innovative zone, I have no problems with their settings, gameplay etc. So No I didn't take a shit on his zone. Edited June 25, 2011 by Avast
