ignore function not working

so i type ?ignore insertnamehere and i can still see them talking. i am making sure i'm typing the name correctly.

?ignore will reset if you quit the game, or if that person leaves and reenters.

If you want to permanently ignore someone, create a text file called 'ignore.txt' and type names in there, 1 per line.

Also, if the player has some %'s in his name, it might not work properly. You might need to double them as you type. i.e. if the player is Potato%head, you'll need to type Potato%%head

typing ?ignore only ignores the person whose name you have ticked, which you can move using pgup/pgdn

Actually you are both right.

 

To sum up the ways to do it:

 

?ignore

Ignores the person who you have ticked. Use page up/page down to tick their name.

 

?ignore Player

Ignores the player who's name you typed in.

 

Those 2 methods fail if you logout

 

ignore.txt

Create an ignore.txt in your continuum folder and put 1 name per line of anyone you wish to ignore. This file is loaded everytime you open continuum.
