I'll close the topic rather than deleting it, as you never know who might be searching for the same answer.

 

For Trench Wars, you can buy certain items by flying over to one of the safety zones (the light green spots on your radar, typically near the bottom, bottom left, and bottom right of the map) and typing ?buy, or ?buy . The cost of an item will then be deducted from your total points (F2).

 

In specific arenas ran by bots, you might be able to type !buy and !buy , and there may or may not be a restriction on the area where you can purchase them, or other conditions.
