I dunno. I really liked the idea when you were deving it before and kinda wanted to see it implemented. oh well I'm sure the new item set will be just as cool

when activated sends you to a random arena and when you move around there you go at normal speed,but the "map" is 2x small use blocks that ships CAN GO THROUGH as the "walls" for it
when you get out of hyperspace you will find you traveled twice as far as you traveled in the other arena.
btw...even though you can go through "walls" you cant warp into a base,only the sorround sector. no warping into id tunnel,no warping into normally unaccassable sectors/places
and is almost safe as warp graphic
takes few seconds to activate,just like star wars
and takes ur nrg to zero after you hyperspace
and importent:NO GUNS IN HYPERSPACE...dont want ppl dieing
and getting stuck.
thrusters work normal too

Agreed. Would it be possible to have a module that, instead if aw working the classic radius of effect way, have it only affect those in the sector/base of the person using it? Excluding center obviously

also why does pd fire at zero energy cost and allows other items to be used as fast as another sig item giga (which costs craptons of energy to fire)

pd is getting abused to hell lately since your upgrade, and needs to have 50 or 60 delay instead of 30

 

 

 

additionally, phoenix is still bad because its a sig still

why should it be 120delay 285cost 5shrap 2shraplevel when falcon, one of the most basic bombs, is 140delay 280cost 3shraplevel?

at least when it had prox it was worth it, put it back or at least lower fire cost to 250 or make shrap level 3 or something

 

been using phoenix all this week in base and only 2-3 shrap hit per bomb on average

and since ive been using it with wzl, it actually drains more than it inflicts

it would be a complete joke in center, as its just a worse falcon

I'd actually consider things you say if you didn't blow things out of proportion to try to make a point. Yes, PD needs a nerf in some way (although I might not bother until next item set, as it might actually use energy there, as a constant drain..). No, it should not get its DPS halved because it can actually aim now.

 

Phoenix beats the crap out of falcon. I suggest you use a Javelin with Shock Matrix and Falcon against a similar jav with Phoenix. Try and run into it. Notice how you just died.

 

Edit: Thing with Phoenix is that it has a ridiculous theoretical maximum damage output. Low delay, exceptionally high shrapnel count. Of course, that doesn't mean it actually does all that damage consistently.

It has two stats that, at their very peak, are the highest of all bombs (and guns, actually): damage output per second if all shrapnel hits as active shrapnel (2562) and damage per energy in that same scenario (10.786).

since its direct impact, 25-50% of the shrapnel are inactive, so that number is completely worthless

 

its a signature, its supposed to be better

at least drop firecost to 250

also impulse seems somewhat underpowered

-2 rc seems a bit much, or maybe drop the turret penalty?

I buffed impulse quite a bit at the start of this reset. I might look at this item set a bit more but I'm more concerned about the balancing of a future item set.

I understand you're not going to develop much on this item set, but to take care of the PD being so op, can you just bring it back to how it was before and keep calibration chip as it is as well?

 

I'm sure it wouldnt take that long to bring back the old PD and it'd help the zone.

i like anything that reduces bulletdelay,even if it has moderate-big cons...

i like quickfire BOMBS and GUNS

even if every item i want is sig
