L.C. Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Am I the only one who has a problem with the majority of faucets out there? Phenomenon (A in illustration):1. Large roomy sink (or small, doesn't matter)2. Faucet spout is very close to the back wall of the sink, requiring you to noclip your hands through the back of the sink in order to properly wash your hands http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/faucetspout.png All manufacturers that make faucets like that shot be permanently shot, disbarred, delicensed, ... Why do they even make faucets like this if you can barely even use them? There is no logic or sense in it! x 1000 A proper faucet will extend out to the middle of the sink (or at least try to). The spout should hover over somewhere roughly around the middle/center to allow for plenty of room for washing your hand without touching sink walls or anything else. Cheese Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 yes, that is very annoying the reason for this is that sinks are sold separately from faucets, so 100% of the blame is to be placed upon the people that own said sink SSC Distension OwnerSSCU Trench Wars Developer3:JabJabJab> sometimes i feel like when im in this mood im like a productive form of CheeseDr Brain> Pretty much everything you said was wrong. Except where you called me a lazy jerk with no time. That was true.3:KrynetiX> do you ever open your web browser and type ?go google5:Ceiu> Wow. My colon decided that was a good time to evacuate itself.
Avast Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 At home don't have that problem. My dad made all our sinks/plumbing/built the whole house basically, so all the faucets are in the center, can even put your head under the faucet and wet your head in the summer when its hot.
Gradius Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Ah, glory to the water faucets and their minor failures of hygiene. Pieeeng.
★ Lynx Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Buy a different faucet, or a faucet that matches your need?
