Sketter Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I'm I the only one a bit concerned here? http://stats.sshq.net/zone/13/SSCE_Hyperspace Quote
L.C. Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I still think it would be cool if the old statistics data were converted and imported into this database. I would like to see the population trends for the entire game. Quote
Cheese Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 its not a reset thats going to fix that, its new content Quote
Weebles Wobble Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 The zone died when I decided to leave. Quote

Dr Brain Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 I don't disagree, but quite frankly, I don't have time to make new content, and I doubt arnk or d1 have any more time than I. A reset's as good as you're going to get. Quote
Kilo Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 however the flip side of that is if you make some quality content there probably will be minimal resistance to having it get used. Quote
Sketter Posted February 14, 2011 Author Report Posted February 14, 2011 I'm wondering if this reset will actually make a difference. Quote

PlayWolf Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Yay, now to rebuild my build I had built so that I can have a complete build.I hope reset does kick in more population.. I hate having to see another zone I enjoyed die, -paws together- Dooooon't diiiiie.. Even though it's the whole game itself... Forever will I be a sad puppy if this died! Quote
Kilo Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 Even though it's the whole game itself... they keep sayin' that, yet... Quote
espo Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 Just a suggestion, but perhaps making some of the alien tech more attainable might help. (That means cheaper) Even if its only temporary. I had a few good builds last reset but never came close to ever having 5 mil to dump on one item. I have a life etc. and I don't bother with cheating. I might play more if some of those items were more realistically attainable. I'm inclined to spend less time here than before because I know I will never get any of those items even if I play 3-4 hours every day. I would rather just duel in EG or whatever to get my SS fix (and I will if that's what it takes). If I thought the alien tech was realistically attainable I would play to try and get them. This zone is so custom and has so much potential to be one of the most fun zones in SS, yet it is so strict with meaningless rules and fake money penalties. That is unattractive. I realize some young people play here but can we quit treating the place like a pre-school? Kids hear more vulgar language at school and at home than they would from this zone. Other zones aren't as strict about this and they do not have rampant cursing. If someone is abusing a situation, then fine, ban them for a few days. New players don't play here because 1. It takes too long to build a good ship due to overpriced tired items and too much time is required to get to a level that can fairly compete with HS full timers. 2. Hired staff just degrant for swearing while they break the rules they enforce. Relax the place a little. Make it easy to play here without the full time commitment. You don't have the population to justify it anymore. If it takes 6 months at 8-10 hours a day to get a couple of AD ships with parasite, you are going to find few people willing to put that kind of time in. Just a suggestion. Quote
