»SD>Big Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 i wonder when we'll run out of the 340282366920938463463374607431768211456 ipv6 addresses Quote
L.C. Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Then, what all the corporations that have gigantic IPv4 reserves will do is sell their reserved, unused IPs for a higher price. Profit! $$$ Quote
Cheese Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 time for everyone to ditch ipv4 for ipv6 and qwerty for dvorak and 32bit for 64bit really Quote
Dr Brain Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Do you have any of those, cheese? Quote

Cheese Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Do you have any of those, cheese? of course not i would LIKE to, but like everyone else im too lazy to spend the effort to switch Quote
Dr Brain Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I type dvorak, but I don't typically recommend it for others. 64-bit OSes have become painless enough for everyone, though. IPv6 won't take off until it's supported by major ISPs. Comcast (my ISP) has been taking steps in that direction, but they've yet to make it available to their general users. Quote
