No_Remorse Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 How much bandwidth does Continuum use?... Since I keep going way over my limit. Women are like Elephants. I like to watch them, but I wouldn't want to own one.
🜲 Samapico Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Well... This game was made for 14.4k modems back in the day... and I played a long time with a 56k modem... so I'd say not much http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/88/Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg/120px-Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg.pngDCME co-developerSSCU 17th Parallel sysop
★ Lynx Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Not enough for you to go over your limit. Depending on the server, you'll probably average around 2.5kbps. With some rudimentary mathematics you should be able to figure out how much Continuum consumes. There are tools around that log what applications are consuming your bandwidth, and some firewalls do too.
No_Remorse Posted January 4, 2011 Author Report Posted January 4, 2011 Ok, that doesn't amount to much. Thanks. Women are like Elephants. I like to watch them, but I wouldn't want to own one.
L.C. Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Use a program NetLimiter to monitor the throughput. Download the free version (2?).
