I agree it is creative but it creates confusion. While flags are in transit to the flag room, does the flag radar show flags in the sector they are actually in or the sector they will wind up in once they get to the flag room? If they show flags being in whatever sector they are actually in then I need to to take the other warp gate to get to the flags. I know it's not rocket science but imagine the confusion to a new player or less-active player. Quote

I will be changing center up soon, and would love to see some creative center obstacles. Even a new center safe graphic would be nice. Not sure what happened to sass, oh well. »Xog Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 (edited) Have one base where the actual flagroom can only be entered by smaller ships, leaving only WB, Jav, and shark to drop/retrieve the flags, and potentially be an easy kill from outside. Very risky, but if you pull off dropping the flags in the flagroom, it'll be harder for the other team to keep the flags if they clear the base. You can just sit outside the base with a bomber and wallbomb the flagcarriers. Would be interesting. Promotes defense of the base from outside the base, a whole new tactic. Right now the small ships ( 1,2,8 ) can drop flags while inside the goal and causes flags to land in the one-pixel area behind the goal; making it impossible for the other team to ever touch it.
