Solving problems that don't exist.

 

EDIT: I'd like to add that I enjoy bases 4 and 5. I appreciate Corey's level of creativity.

 

I agree it is creative but it creates confusion. While flags are in transit to the flag room, does the flag radar show flags in the sector they are actually in or the sector they will wind up in once they get to the flag room? If they show flags being in whatever sector they are actually in then I need to to take the other warp gate to get to the flags. I know it's not rocket science but imagine the confusion to a new player or less-active player.

To be honest with you, I don't see people getting confused at all. Teams have been successful in communicating with each other to discern which base to go to. If a mistake it made, it is never made twice. Edited by P Nut

As of now i like the current 7 bases that are in the sectors, the only thing i might do is make base 7 a bit easier to defend. I will be changing center up soon, and would love to see some creative center obstacles. Even a new center safe graphic would be nice. Not sure what happened to sass, oh well. You can feel free to post any development you want on here. As i would like to turn this into some sort of archive/information post.

-Put in op2rules minibase.

-Made base 7 easier to defend

-Made base 6 easier to defend

-Made base 1 harder to defend

-Added sector warps from 4 to 5 and vise versa

Have one base where the actual flagroom can only be entered by smaller ships, leaving only WB, Jav, and shark to drop/retrieve the flags, and potentially be an easy kill from outside. Very risky, but if you pull off dropping the flags in the flagroom, it'll be harder for the other team to keep the flags if they clear the base. You can just sit outside the base with a bomber and wallbomb the flagcarriers. Would be interesting.

 

Promotes defense of the base from outside the base, a whole new tactic.

I would like to keep basing to the inside of the base, thats why i put antibomb tiles on the outside of the flagroom. But i like the idea of how smaller ships can only enter certain parts

So, like a small tunnel for smalls to access and also where the big ships and spam into the tunnel wasting the tiny lil ships, and a silly shark cloaker secretly squeezes through.

-Uploaded a new base 4 yesterday.

-These bases are to stay for a couple weeks, as they are all even.

-Still in need of an ammo safe graphic.

-Changed base 1 to test out a new flag room

-Changed base 1 again, flag room in previous base didnt work out

 

Had a nice 21v21 flag game last night

I love them flag games where teams keep trading out the base, keeping the game long and rough for all players trying to win... good times good times..

The goal in Base 1's flag room needs to be tucked into the corner or moved out more. Right now the small ships ( 1,2,8 ) can drop flags while inside the goal and causes flags to land in the one-pixel area behind the goal; making it impossible for the other team to ever touch it. Edited by Kai
