What happened to Subspace?

So I have played Subspace off and on for a long time. After a recent 6 month or maybe even 8 month hiatus I decide its time to play SS again and have some fun. After downloading the client (from a brand new website) and getting my options all configured (takes me about 15 minutes to reconfigure everything the way I like) I'm READY.

 

But wait, I need a shipset for DSB (I have always played with it, so I can't not use it) and SS downloads is down. You know, the website that is everything Subspace? Has a scrillion (I counted) different files and shipsets?

 

Anyways, I really made this thread to ask why its down, whats happened the last year while I've been absent and to also ask IF SOMEBODY HAS THE DEATH STAR BATTLE ZONE SPECIFIC SHIPSET (file bm2 I believe) TO PLEASE UPLOAD IT. EDIT: See a few posts below for a link

 

Ya this is my first post blah blah blah. There are a jillion forums out there so just pretend my post count is 20,000.

well, you see, testtube no longer hosts the site. the entire ssdownloads database was uploaded somewhere and linked on this forum, so you'd have to download THE WHOLE thing to get that one file.

 

or if someone has it and is nice, will give it to you let me see if I can find that link if you choose the former.

Well I dinked around for 5 minutes on the website and couldn't figure out how to upload the file. Sooooo I guess this is the next best thing, I'll just put the link here and you guys can do whatever you want with it.

 

Besides if you let me upload it, I would probably name the file something like "the one and only DSB shipset OMG!" and an admin who cared about his reputation would have to change the name

Oh thanks. I just submitted the file but I don't see it. Also, "graphics addons" and "extra graphics" sound like synonyms to me, not sure what to think about that. Couldn't find a category for shipsets so I submitted them under "graphics addons". Hopefully thats the right place!
