Newb question - where's the guide?

I am totally new to this game - never played it once yet, but I stumbled across it and figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

 

Game is installed. I made a profile. I can get online and see servers. I connected to one as observer.....

 

....

 

... and nothing. I have a little ship and a scrolling background with the message "entering arena". But it never changes. And there are no apparent inputs. mouse and kep-press do nothing. So I close out of that and look in the Help menu and see the link to the players guide... which goes to a page that is obviously been placed there by a domain name squatter - where once there was apparently a players guide.

 

Where can I get this players guide?

As for your loading problem. Can you please tell us which zone you are trying to enter, what OS your PC is running? also are you on a network?

On the Entering arena... screen you should see 'Downloading: x%' after a few seconds.

Most links you can find from in game are probably dead... we have no control over them since they're built in the client itself, and the domains expired long ago.
